I am very much depressed these days…. So just wanna get out that writing something which makes me feel good as when i think of those sweet memories… in other words my greatest milestone of the year 2010.
All are happy enjoying the new year 2011.. I don’t know what’s struggling inside me which stops me to be normal.
There are many things I have achieved in the past year mainly in career front .Firstly one new area in my domain where no one had knowledge in that except me in my complete organization and I was successful in that area which made my complete vertical look back at me “who is that lady” doing all those.
Secondly, my DM arranged a demo of the work done by me to the senior vice president of my organization. That was an unforgettable day in my life time where she said “I am completely impressed by the way you are” and she added up that your parents should feel proud of you and she was looking forward to meet my parents. She just hugged me and said take my dear young lady keep up the good work and continues doing it. I still recall each and every single word she was speaking with me.
I was even bit nervous the whole night since my PM called me up late at night and informing that we have scheduled a demo with our V.P early 7 am the next day. He asked me to be ready by 6am so that I will pick you up. After reaching office I pretended to be cool. But my DM said “Malathi I have shown you the way. There is 2 things if she like you that will remain forever else its negative..He added I know you will manage well”.
Then I was completely relaxed .Myself, two of my PM’s and my DM was presented over in that conference room we are now set ready to go. She enters very coolly with Chennai ted head given a warm hand shake to all of us before introducing formally. She was very casual and it was me who sat straight in front of her .Looking at her gained me lots and lots of confidence and energy. Then we continued with our demo as decided. But she was most interested to have a look at my demo and the other later. So I started explaining her slowly what I have done till date.
She suddenly put forth a question as “what makes you to do this which is completely apart from my daily work that you where no one in our organization has done that before” I just calmly replied her back “it was my DM was behind who has shown me the path that was dark, usually my aim is that to do something different to make my own self differentiate from others and not the one among thousands which made to explore more on my own and light the path so I am successful”.
She was asking about my family, college life, and life at this organization. She was very much impressed knowing that a normal girl from a village wherein she was the one among the couple of women’s who came out as first generation learners can differentiate themselves like this why can’t others. Both my ted head and VP have no words.
It has been told by me DM that my mother was unwell even she completed this task and left home to care of her. So she was asking about my mom’s health and added how she now and convey my regards to your family.
She has one question in her heart but she didn’t ask me but she said before she stepped out of the conference room we all were seated. While she was saying that your parents should feel proud you I said her back I am feeling proud since born and brought in a very small village the best thing my dad has provided is my schooling.He and my mom sacrificed all their happiness and made all 3(brother, sister&me) to get educated in a good convent which stood first even in those days till today.
Once I concluded my sentence, she started with a sorry for thinking that way Malathi. She continued that she was noticing my communication with her was simply great and clear in my thoughts, which made me wonder how this lady have such a great potential that too coming from an interior village, now it’s all your dad who get the credit by growing by teaching you the values in life.
Later she just concluded saying “wanna meet your parents and don’t forget to invite me to your marriage”.
That was the same day that all my dear ones were completely happy and felt proud.

My father will always tell me that go for number three which is brings me luck...
Am I thinking silly... absolutely yes...But onething is fact that 2011 has commenced very worst :(
